Soft Hair Stroke Technique
The soft hair stroke method is ideal for those who have very little to no eyebrow hair to begin with. Very fine hairline strokes are created to visually replicate individual natural hairs as opposed to a “block” of solid ink. Light shading is then applied to give the brows dimension. The hair stroke method has become incredibly popular in recent years, due to the trend for thick yet bushy and natural looking brows that seem to be on all the catwalks at the moment.
The advantages are that it does look very natural, like real hair. It is perfect for people that already have quite good hair coverage, and for those who want to fill out gaps in their eyebrows where hair is missing, because the strokes can be made to mimic the natural hair present in colour, thickness and angle.
Feathering Technique
This is basically a combination of the shading and hair stroke techniques, whereby strokes are made closer to one another other creating a shaded dimensional appearance. Unlike the harsh block tattooing of the past, Feather Touch Tattoo looks completely natural because it mimics the real brow hair and can be individually customised. Depending on your needs, brows can be subtly coloured or completely remodeled as each new strand is intricately etched and coloured by hand.
What To Expect
Your brow is measured and surgical dots are drawn to ensure symmetry. A small metal hand tool with disposable fine needles is then used to create very fine hairline strokes into the skin. A hypo-allergenic iron oxide pigment is then implanted into the skin and which will generally last between 6 mth – 2 years. Results may vary depending on the client’s exposure to sun and their resistance to pigment, skin type.
Whilst undergoing the procedure, anesthetic is continually applied to decrease any pain or discomfort that you may feel. Depending on the depth of colour requested, most people are comfortable in public within a day or so. Bepanthen ointment is recommended for daily use for up to 5 days after the procedure,
